Hervey Bay Airport –
The most convenient way to fly to Fraser Island, as you cannot fly into the island commercially, is to take a flight to Hervey Bay Airport. Flights from Sydney and Melbourne arrive at the airport courtesy of Virgin Australia. You can reach Hervey Bay Airport from Brisbane via Quantas flights. From the airport, you will need to take the bus/ferry to Fraser Island.
Maryborough West Train Station –

How to get around Fraser Island
