Getting in and out of Noosa

Noosa is located around a 90-minute drive north of Brisbane and about a 35-min drive from the closest airport (Sunshine Coast Airport).

  • Sunshine Coast Airport: This airport multiple daily domestic flights from major cities.
  • Shuttle Bus: Several shuttle bus companies offer Brisbane and sunshine coast airport transfers. The duration of the trip can be a little more or less, depending on how many stops are required.
  • Car Hire: All the major car hire companies have offices at both Brisbane Airport and Sunshine Coast Airport.

Getting around Noosa

There is very little public transport around Noosa. Most people have their own car, a rental or take a moment to enjoy the wonderful surrounds and either walk or hire a bike.
